Roles & Responsibilities:


The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of communication, including speech, language and hearing, as well as cognition and dysphasia.

Works well independently and under the supervision of the Director or his/her designee.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Communication Disorders from an accepted graduate program.
  • LA State licensure in Speech Language Pathology recommended, but can qualify if performing Clinical Fellowship Year at LRMC.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
  • State Licensure in Speech/Language
  • BLS
