About the role :
  • Perform inspection, testing and maintenance/repair of Wet, Dry, Pre-Action and Deluge Sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA.
  • Candidate should have the ability to accurately discern and document deficiencies found during an inspection.
  • Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows and standpipes is a plus.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to communicate with employees, employers, customers and authorities having jurisdiction both written and verbally as desired.

Job Qualifications:
Who we're looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years field experience as a Sprinkler Fitter or Inspector
  • Functional knowledge of Wet and Dry Sprinkler Systems
  • Knowledge of fire pumps, backflows, and standpipes a plus
  • Good written and oral communication skills and have good organizational skills
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • NICET Level 2 certification in Water Based Systems required.
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Participation in an On-Call Schedule
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local codes.
