The SQL Data Architect / Report Developer is responsible for aspects of designing, modeling and developing database schemas, ETL process and reporting based on multiple related Clinical and Billing servers and databases (SQL Server 2012 running on Windows 2008 and above). Responsibilities also include analyzing reporting needs, designing new reports, improving existing reports, and analysis of new reporting software. Responsibilities: • Lead in architecting, designing, modeling, developing, maintaining and deploying complex data models, and data integrations utilizing SQL server (SSIS) based ETL processes for new and existing systems • Lead in planning and implementing the data integration and data migration activities. • Coordinate with team members to perform database programming based on project requirements. • Develop stored procedures, complex SQL queries, scripts and database programming for systems. • Assist in identifying process improvements for database performance, reliability and stability. • Perform Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data from Excel, Flat file, Oracle to MS SQL Server by using SSIS services • Knowledgeable in best practices for data modelling, database programming and job scheduling and ETL package dependencies. • Provide technical leadership for large-scale database projects. • Participate in all of Software Development Life Cycle, starting from requirements, design, maintenance, enhancement, coding, and administration of SQL servers • Creates complex Graphs Charts in SSRS with drill down functionality accessing SQL databases using T-SQL or other techniques to meet the requirements. • Meets with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define reporting requirements and goals. • In conjunction with data owners and business units, develops models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with company goals. • Creates prototype reporting models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers. • Works with application development staff to coordinate the creation and management of reporting structures. • Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in reporting systems across the organization. • Advises department and managers regarding appropriate, effective, and efficient use of organizational reporting capabilities and functions. • Researches, reviews, and analyzed the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and develops strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes. *Candidates must be eligible to work in the US
