The Sr. Account Manager Consultant is a single point of contact and accountability for Brokers & Employers, focused on activities leading to profitable growth and increased persistency. Accountability for the Broker and Employer, solely focused on quarterbacking the experience.




  • Able to strategically look across entire book of business, looking for trends in order to proactively anticipate problems and come up with solutions
  • Able to achieve results through others and effectively delegate
  • Take the lead on renewals without help from the Account Executive
  • Ability to align with more diverse/complex markets and geographies, with any Regional Market broker
  • Partner with the Account Executive to sell and grow the AE’s block of business
  • Strong product knowledge and financial acumen to help brokers and customers understand rates and changes
  • Possess broad cross-functional knowledge
  • Able to independently resolve escalations
  • Ability to lead stewardship meetings
  • Proactively manage metrics and seek out opportunities for improvement
  • Ability to handle the most complex cases and brokers with high growth potential
  • Extremely broker-centric
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new systems and maneuver within multiple complex systems at the same time
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage across a matrix team
  • Confirm sold plan design
  • Implementation facilitation
  • Coordination with VSC on enrollment execution
  • Proactive broker & customer outreach
  • Stewardship strategy & preparation
  • Single point of entry for brokers
  • Broker & customer escalations
  • “Natural Work Team” Quarterback
  • Renewal consultation, Plan Design consultation
  • Broker Administrator Training



  • High School Diploma and 7 years business experience





Bachelor’s degree

5 plus years’ experience in customer/broker service experience
