DESCRIPTION: Campaign Planning Manager Job Description Seeking business leader to manage strategic campaign promotional planning for NA Small Business direct. Responsibility scales across all programs of the business including Dell Advantage Loyalty Program, Dell Financial Services, Affinity Marketing, S&P, Services etc. The leader will develop and own all strategic campaign promotions through a calendar that is planned more than one year in advance and then handed off to the marketing and merchandizing teams to execute. This will include major shopping events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday as well as normal weekly campaigns that occur each week. S/he will be the single owner of the business, leading the organization to think big by improving the customer shopping experience, innovating on behalf of customers, developing long-term strategy/partnerships, and delivering results. This leader will be provided an opportunity to work with a team of senior brand/merchandising managers focused on making a high-growth, high-impact difference, with innovation at the forefront, and supported by best-in-class data analytics. Specific Responsibilities Include - Develop all promotions and sales events for consumer and small business - Consolidate all promotions for every business and program into one simplified strategic calendar that maximizes elastic and non-elastic shopping periods - Drive alignment across all major functions of the organization including marketing, merchandizing, online, offline phone sales and chat - Constant simplification of customer experience through the customer journey when purchasing a major sale or promotional item - Demonstrate the ability to influence and drive planning across BUs (S&P / Services) and drive alignment with cross functional stakeholders (Sales, Online, EUC, Finance, PG, Marketing) - Apply broad knowledge of companys product/service capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product/service opportunities. - Oversee the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share - Develop comprehensive omni-channel GTM plans for the category, including retail product exclusivity decisions, based on deep understanding of channel dynamics/ facts & data - Evaluate in-depth market analysis and lead business cases for optimization of existing promotions to create the next generation or promotions - Work closely with outside vendor relationships Microsoft/ Intel etc. Skill s - Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution - Strong presentation skills to senior leadership and internal/external customers - Has the innate ability to inspire passion - Comprehensive understanding of competitive promotional environment - Advanced analytical skills and ability to convert insights to strategic plans - Advanced understanding of omni-channel dynamics - Strong time management and prioritization skills and ability to prioritize tasks for others - Results oriented - lead and influence cross-functional teams/work groups.
