Within Global Operations at Dell, we are looking for a Import Export Compliance Sr Analyst to join our team in Franklin, MA. Overview The role is responsible for supporting US import and export clearance, and the management of dangerous goods compliance in support of end to end order management and delivery processes. This position will also assist to maintain aspects of the import/export compliance program, which may include the development of international trade metrics, strategies to reduce import expenses, and audits of import and or export documentation to insure compliance to regulations and policies. Responsibilities -Create compliant documentation for the handling of dangerous goods; provide stakeholder training as required; and provide support to internal compliance and SLA assessments -Participate on project teams to support trade and supply chain initiatives -Monitor import and export clearance delays and work with brokers, providers, and stakeholders to resolve situations as they arise. -Develop and maintain correct trade data, documentation, reports and procedures. -Provide support to trade compliance auditing -Perform operational activities relating to export including export screening, end use/end user verification and documentation support -Serve as point of escalation to resolve shipment holds or other issues to facilitate the release of goods subject or restricted by regulatory requirements -Provide input to help improve the relationship, overall service capabilities, and drive improvements and efficiencies in established processes -Implement and maintain Service Provider SOW’s, managing KPI’s and overall network relationships, to include performance, quarterly reviews, and scorecard reports. -Ensure daily operational workload requirements are met and escalate as required Requirements -Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience in relevant field or equivalent work experiences. -4 years of relevant experience in dangerous goods, import-export, or logistics operations with an emphasis on compliance -Experience in ECCN, HTS classification, and Denied Party Screening -Intermediate level skills in MS Office Suite -Experience in preparing and submitting export licenses a plus -Ability to work within teams and independently with minimal supervision -Strong communication skills to effectively guide clients through customs and compliance requirements Preferences -Familiarity and understanding of Dangerous Goods regulations, marking, IATA/FIATA rules -Knowledge of import and or export requirements -Knowledge of relevant import-export regulations (e.g. Customs, EAR, ITAR, OFAC, etc) -Familiarity and understanding of Dangerous Goods regulations, marking, IATA/FIATA rules With more than 100,000 team members globally, we promote an environment that is rooted in the entrepreneurial spirit in which the company was founded.
