PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION:
A full time Analyst is required to support the CISS Risk Office. Under the general supervision of a Lead Analyst and Manager, performs activities relating to the analysis of threat information and the timely dissemination of written reports to stakeholders in order to avoid cyber and physical security risks. The selectee may assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The analyst is required to conduct risk assessments and analyze matters across a broad spectrum of internal and external issues.
- The analyst will be required to collect information from a variety of sources and to add value to that information to better inform performers and decision makers.
-Perform, document and assist in conducting risk analysis across a wide spectrum of threats and program areas to include Intelligence analysis and dissemination, Cyber and physical risk analysis, supply chain integrity, public policy analysis, international travel preparation and other related matters
-Maintain engagement with public and private sector partners
-Assist less experienced personnel
-Proactively utilize knowledge and experience to add value to intelligence disseminations.
-Utilize best practices to improve services. Apply and verify standards as defined within the Management Model
-Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years related experience in intelligence analysis or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
-Appropriate technical skills to include familiarity with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and related tools
-Knowledge of practices and processes in intelligence and risk analysis
-Strong problem solving skills
-Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and experience as an intelligence or risk analyst preferred
-As assigned, work effectively as part of a team with internal and external partners
-Performs this service in support of the Corporate and Information Security Services mission
