Business Services Company (BSC) position at PHI. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard Information Technology techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications. Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. Performance at this level requires developmental experience in a professional position.
May lead or coordinate the work of others, but mostly a directed team member. Has regular contact with peers in business units and IT personnel.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred; or, equivalent work experience and technical training.
2 to 3 years experience in information systems
Demonstrates working knowledge of database programming concepts.
Demonstrates working knowledge of network connectivity concepts.
Good oral and written communication skills. If necessary can use software tools (flow chart design, code generation) in each stage of system development.

Experience demonstrating skill using PC-based word-processing software, PC-based spreadsheet and e-mail software
Knowledge of Windows 2008 or later, Windows XP, and the Office/XP environments
Ability and willingness to work extended hours or modified schedule for planned or emergency work.
Ability and willingness to travel to various company locations.
2+ years or more experience demonstrating skill implementing, operating, and maintaining Operating Systems such as Windows/Unix
2+ years or more experience demonstrating skill implementing, operating, and maintaining Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PI
Experience demonstrating skill in programming and/or scripting languages such as C++, PERL, shell scripts, awk, JAVA.
