Sr. Analyst - Tax & Technical Accounting

  • Prepare and record income tax journal entries, in accordance with SFAS 109, for U.S. federal and state income taxes
    • Maintain proper documentation for all journal entries
  • Prepare account reconciliations and roll-forwards for all U.S. income tax accounts
    • Federal and state (accrued, deferred and reserves)
    • Ensure all accounts are reconciled every period
  • Prepare a consolidated balance sheet roll-forward for consolidated NAB reporting
    • Includes accrued, deferred and reserves accounts
  • Prepare all U.S. FAS 109 (HFM Consolidation) schedules for submission to Corporate
  • Assist with the review of Canada FAS 109 submission packages
  • Assist with the preparation of the U.S. federal and state return to provision analysis
  • Assist with analysis and maintenance of tax reserves in accordance with FIN 48
  • Assist with the preparation of U.S. taxable income forecasts for ETR and cash tax rate
    • Annual ETR plan and forecasts
    • 3-5 year Strategic Plan
  • Consolidate PBC's total tax provision ( ETR ) and cash taxes (U.S. and Canada)
    • Annual ETR plan and forecasts
    • 3-5 year Strategic Plan
  • Ensure compliance with SOX
  • Assist across NAB Financial Reporting teams (Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, P&L, HFM)
  • Additional Ad-Hoc work related to Technical Accounting (i.e. Impairment, Pre/Post Close decks, Commitment and Contingencies etc.)
  • Prepare schedules for certain governmental reporting requirements


  • Bachelors/Masters in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
