The Opportunity
As a Sr. Applications Developer on the Oracle PIM Data Hub team, you will perform detailed design based on high-level design specifications provided. You will assist in system planning, scheduling and implementation. You will also:
    Work closely with customers to understand their use cases and implement the same. Build enhancements and resolve bugs. Build and execute unit test and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Interact with QA and porting engineering about problems in the code.
You will be working with an agile team with creative and experienced individual who are building a cutting-edge MDM (Master Data Management) solution.

Desired Skills and Experience


We are seeking brilliant individuals with proven track records who have experience in and exposure to complex software development projects and these qualifications:
    BS degree in CS or Engineering or equivalent 3 years of software engineering or related experience writing enterprise software products Knowledge of Software Engineering and complete life-cycle product development with focus on quality Experience with Java and J2EE, XML, Web services, SQL, RDBMS Exposure to MVC architecture (ADF / OAF), SOA BPEL are a plus Exposure to APM, ADE processes are a plus Ability to understand business concepts and processes Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality coding standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location: Redwood Shores, CA or Austin, TX
Qualifications:
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
