Sr. ASIC ASE Verification Engineer

Job responsibilities include:

Supporting ASIC customers both in Pre-sales evaluation phase and post-sales design support in the areas of Reliability analysis , IR drop analysis, Timing analysis , Power analysis and low power design techniques .

Tool / Methodology specific areas of customer focus would include:

IR Drop Analysis: ASIC level IR drop analysis, DvD, Peak to Peak using Redhawk, Voltus preferred. Experience creating IR drop models will be a plus
EM : Experience with Redhawk based EM analysis, Irms, modeling for EM analysis , transient in-rush current analysis and thermal analysis
Tempus / PT / PT_SI: Primetime / Tempus based STA, full chip timing, low power techniques like UPF/CPF based timing, PT-SMVA exposure
PT-PX (or Tempus): Primetime / Tempus based power analysis both average based and time event based for leakage and dynamic power.
STAR-RC / QRC : Based gate level extraction techniques and debug.
TCL-Scripts: Be involved in writing TCL routines as needed for data generation in PT run.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years experience:
- In standard-cell based ASIC design methodology (RTL2GDS flow, ICC, Innovus, PT, Tempus, Redhawk, Voltus)
- With transistor level design is also a plus in dealing with diverse customer requests
- In Automating Flows/Scripting with Unix shell, Perl and TCL

Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding on leakage concepts and dynamic power in CMOS circuits and IR drop impact on ASIC performance.
Solid understanding of timing concepts and gate level ASIC extraction flow
Good understanding of reliability concepts liking aging, N/P BTI
Proven track record of uncompromising customer orientation to deliver leading-edge solutions.
