This position is within the Acquisition - Information Management team. This position will aid in the analysis of acquisition customer information. This candidate must have strong project management skills and will be required to understand Credit Bureau acquisition procedures for various Discover portfolios like Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans, etc., and the receipt and maintenance of campaigns for these portfolios. The candidate will also act as a liaison between internal BT/Operations/Marketing teams to champion projects to improve data quality.Principle Duties and Responsibilities:1. Support acquisition campaigns for various products including Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans , and Home Equity Loans2.Analytics on DFS acquisition management data to ensure accuracy and consistency of data3.Interact with Credit Bureaus to gather information on attributes and match rates4.Coordinate projects through entire project life cycle from initiating requirements through implementation and mailing5.Analyze data relating to acquisition related customer complaints or data issues and collaborate with bureaus to resolve issues 7.Leverage acquisition management data and other internal data to conduct independent analysis8.Explore and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and for continued monitoring of existing processes9.Coordinate initiatives with external and internal business partners10.Create dashboards and reports to present results of analysis to managementSkills Required:Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)1 -3 years of experience in project management1 -3 years of experience in analytics and data miningComprehensive experience in SQL and SASExperience working with external vendorsSkills Desired:Masters degree preferred.Mainframe experience and Teradata a plusKnowledge of FCRA, FACTA, ECOA, and other credit industry regulations preferred.
