Job Description
This position within the Acquisition - Information Management team will support the acquisition customer information management functions. This candidate must have strong project management skills and will be required to understand Credit Bureau acquisition procedures for various Discover portfolios like Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans, etc., and the receipt and maintenance of campaigns for these portfolios. The candidate will play a critical role as a bureau liaison for Risk Management /Operations /Marketing /Technology teams to enable successful launch of projects and improve data quality. Key Responsibilities:Ensure accurate execution of acquisition campaigns at vendors for various products including Card, Personal Loans, Student Loans, and Home Equity LoansEvaluate vendor reports on acquisition campaign data to ensure accuracy and consistency of risk criteriaInteract with Credit Bureaus to gather information on attributes and match ratesManage relationships with bureaus on new initiatives and pre-approval projects from initiating requirements through implementationVerify consistency of weekly reported numbers to vendor billed numbers and identify opportunities for improvementAnalyze and respond to acquisition campaign related customer complaints across Discover portfoliosLeverage acquisition campaign data and other internal data to conduct independent analysisExplore and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and for continued monitoring of existing processesCreate dashboards and reports to present results of analysis to management Skills Required:3-5 years of experience in project managementMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience in SQL and SAS 2-3 years of experience in analytics and data mining is preferredExperience working with external vendorsBachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field. Skills Desired:Teradata a plusKnowledge of FCRA, FACTA, ECOA, and other credit industry regulations preferred.Masters degree preferred.
