Amgen is looking for a Senior Associate Maintenance Planner that is responsible for planning and scheduling the day to day maintenance activities of the Thousand Oaks B7 EpogenĀ® (EPO) commercial manufacturing facility, including the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and testing of a wide variety of office, utility and facility equipment used in the manufacturing and utility plants. The Senior Associate Maintenance Planner forecasts future maintenance, revises Job Plans/Data Sheets and processes/administers all work order requests utilizing the Amgen Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Position Responsibilities:
Receive written and electronic work requests, verify completeness of all entries and enter information into CMMS and issue work order tickets
Determine appropriate work order craft and labor groups, as well as verify work priorities
Administer the preventative maintenance tracking and documentation programs, assign and distribute the work to the appropriate craft supervisor and review scope and frequency of assignments with managers
Identify resources and materials required to execute the requested work and verify the availability of those resources prior to scheduling work
Assign/author job plans, coordinate work schedules, follow-up on schedule conflicts and drive work orders to closure
Generate and provide management reports
Review and approve maintenance reports, forms, plans and records
Develop, revise and review equipment, maintenance or other related procedures
Attends daily/weekly team meetings and coordinate shutdown schedules and outside services
Identify improvement opportunities for the planning and scheduling process, work must be planned and scheduled to be completed in a safe and timely manner with minimal impact to production while complying with GMP, SOP, CFR and Amgen regulations
Interact with peers and clients in manufacturing, engineering maintenance, utility plants, analytical labs and contracted services
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree
OR
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Maintenance experience
OR
Associate's degree and 6 years of Maintenance experience
OR
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Maintenance experience
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a scheduling/planning/maintenance or associated craft within a GMP manufacturing facility
Computer skills, including Maximo, Windows, MS Word, MS Project and Excel
Knowledge of building trades, property management, craft skills and engineering
Ability to interpret and revise electrical schematics, P&ID's, I/O wiring and panel drawings
Verbal and written communication skills, as well as organization skills
Advanced knowledge and familiarity of the Amgen Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or like system
Knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical and hydraulic fundamentals
Advanced computer and typing skills
Ability to work in awkward locations and outside of normal shift times
