This Sr. Brand Manager position will work for
the newly acquired Vogue International brands. These brands represent an
innovative hair care business which is new to our Consumer Family of Companies
and focused on the marketing, development and distribution of salon-influenced
and nature-inspired hair care and other personal care products. With several
strong brands among its portfolio, including OGX® and MAUI MOISTURE® Proganix®
and FX®, the Vogue business is the cornerstone of Johnson & Johnson Consumer’s
hair care operations. Vogue International products are sold in the U.S.
and in 38 countries. This role will be
based in Tampa Bay, Florida area and offers relocation assistance.
This marketing candidate should have a
track record of building and developing brands for a consumer package
goods company, using nimble and cost-efficient marketing and brand
development skills including consumer insights & market research, brand and
product portfolio management, global creative assets, and P&L management.
This marketing candidate’s ‘tool kit’ should include a keen understanding
of the processes and methods to build a powerful and growing global consumer brand,
as well as strong project management skills.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Works with CMO to align on 3-5 year pipeline
and brand strategy.
knowledge of competition and applies information as necessary to grow sales and
profit and to develop long term brand development plan.
the 18-month global brand plan. Works
with Category Management to analyze, understand and recommend brand growth &
white space opportunities.
Plans and oversee execution of the global brand and launch plans and works with
each zone on execution and budget management.
the copy and concept approval for global launches, works cross-functionally to
ensure copy and concept development is substantiated and legally approved
the cross-functional global launch plans.
Works with global agencies and zones to ensure that the global brand
strategy is maximized for each market outside of the North America.
on the tech transfer process cross-functionally for all existing formulas or
and briefs new innovation with product development team for global launches,
gaining alignment across the organization.

Degree required; MBA preferred.
plus years of Brand Manager experience in consumer goods environment.
category and/or beauty industry experience is preferred
leadership, project management skills, communication and organizational skills.
self-starter who can act with limited direction
analytical experience including analysis of business - Understanding of
IRI/Nielsen imperative, consumer insights and consumer research is required.
