Position Description

Remote Base Position:
Under the direction of the Applications Manager – Centricity Business Applications, incumbent performs various functions related to daily support of the GE Centricity Business applications for multiple external ASP clients and the McKesson RCO billing office.

This position will:

The analyst will provide programming and functional support for the following Centricity modules
Web modules and supporting applications:
  • GE Centricity Web framework
  • Billing and Accounts Receivable (BAR)
  • Transaction Editing System (TES)
  • Ingenix ClaimsManager
  • Enterprise Scheduling (SCHED)
  • Enterprise Task Manager (ETM)
  • Screen Form Generator
  • Security Plus (SEC+)
  • PC Exchange (PCX Upload Utility)
  • Advanced Web Framework
  • Payer Contract Module (PCM)
  • Database Management System (DBMS)
  • eCommerce (EDI – claims, ERAs, and Eligibility)
  • Enterprise Document Management (EDM)
  • Enterprise Scheduler (ESI – Job control  automation)
  • Real Time and Batch HL7 Interfaces
  • Informatics
  • Reporter
  • System Management Portal
  • Remote Server Administration

Maintenance of system dictionaries and the programming of screens, reports, form letters and other system features requiring edits on a regular basis

Develop testing plans and testing scenarios to be used as new features/fixes are added to the system, hardware changes, or issues that require signoff on software functionality.

Develop functional requirements for application fixes and enhancements; determine resources required level of effort estimates and status tracking.

Follow protocol for user notification of system issues (scheduled or unscheduled downtime, new information, etc.)

Write supporting documentation and procedures for system changes, modifications, and day-to-day operations

Subject matter expert on Centricity Business from technology & functionality perspective (BAR, interfaces & extracts) and is expected to continually be gaining technical knowledge on these systems. Able to conduct activities per the experience requirements.

Works with Applications Manager – Centricity Applications as needed to establish new clients.
Assume on-call responsibilities as assigned (includes 24/7 support during assigned period)

Travel as needed to client sites and McKesson RCO billing offices (less than 25%)


Key Responsibilites

Minimum Requirements

Centricity Business Experience – Prefer the candidate with 5 years of high level Centricity application support experience

Additional Knowledge and Skills
-Detailed knowledge of procedures, utilities, program scripts, & excellent written & verbal communication skills -Detailed knowledge of technical system design -Detailed knowledge of industry trends & technology; awareness of regulations & compliance requirements -Detailed knowledge of company technology processes, procedures (e.g., Open Source), & business systems support


Prefer 4 year bachelor’s degree or relevant experience (preferably in medical billing or IT related field)
