The US Public Sector State and Local Government (SLG) Business Operations and Sales Excellence Director is a key member of the US SLG leadership team. This role has a specific focus in working with the Vice President, US Public Sector SLG and the entire SLG team to develop, plan, and implement communication, operation and strategic programs across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

Passionately drive consistent & effective rhythm of the business processes throughout the year, such as fiscal year and MYR planning, monthly and quarterly business reviews, and overall sales operations such as weekly forecast calls and MAL list management. Define and manage the rhythm of the business of the group including staff meetings and organizational calendar. Monitor and communicate all operations metrics to keep our business on track. Create a vibrant and compelling communication plan for the organization and internal stakeholders. Work with sales directors and the sales excellence director to create and deliver a powerful sales training plan that provides the teams with key messages and tools to drive to the customers. Facilitate cross-team integration across US SLG and US Public Sector teams. Represent VP, US SLG when needed in internal meetings. Excellent collaborative skills will be required to build strong relationships with Business Groups, WW Public Sector, WW Industry Strategy, Finance, Business Groups, US M&O organization to make the US SLG organization highly visible and more successful.

Core Qualifications/ Experiences Required:

Successful candidates will demonstrate outstanding communication skills (verbal and written), excellent interpersonal skills, project management and business management skills, capacity for strategic thought leadership and the ability to solve highly unstructured business problems, and build effective virtual teams. An MBA/MS/MA degree with experience with business, marketing, sales or related field of 5-7+ years’ experience in corporate sales or marketing of computer hardware, software, or services required. Candidate must possess a proven track record for excellent leadership, managing projects, decision-making, collaborate effectively and drives results across multiple functional groups. Reporting:

The US SLG Business Operations Sales Excellence Director will report to the Vice President, US SLG Sales. This individual will be an integral part of the SLG Leadership team and a virtual member of the US Public Sector and WW Public Sector.
