Global Corporate Security strives to be a best-in-class provider of global corporate security in the financial services sector by providing an integrated and comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation capability to enable MetLife’s strategy: growing the emerging markets presence, refocusing the U.S. business, and driving toward customer-centricity and a global brand. In direct support for the head of Corporate Security Technology and the broader security technology team, this role provides project management leadership and execution for the team’s global portfolio or projects.  This role will require an engaging leader who can move complex problems into simple business solutions to better manage our global risk and security profile.

   

 

  • The Business Systems Analyst consultant will be responsible for supporting large and small projects that could expand the MetLife enterprise. 
  • The main responsibilities will include participating in business and technical meetings gathering and refining business requirements by creating flows, wireframes, user stories creation, use cases or other requirements documentation. 
  • The consultant will facilitate meetings and discussions driving consensus of the business requirements and validating solutions for business owners.
  • The consultant should have experience working through all aspects of the SDLC and adapt easily to both Agile and waterfall SDLC concepts. 

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the elicitation and documentation of business requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development working with cross-functional teams and formal SDLC processes.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in creating, administrating, and documenting Test Plans
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other UI development tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts in narrative, graphical and visual means.
  • Ability to work independently and keep projects on track.
  • Strong organizational skills – must be able to juggle multiple projects and priorities while keeping projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication, planning, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong focus on meeting commitments and deliverables
