The SR Business Systems Analyst will work with the business partners to gather functional requirements and design documentation for IT Tools CoE team.  The application projects include new development, enhancements which includes migrating applications to a standardized set of tools, and provide standard documentation and support.  The position requires strong communication skills to lead and interact with architects, business partners, developers, testing teams, and other associated teams.  Proficient in producing business requirements (with respect to IT Tools) and working with all teams to ensure accurate requirements are documented.  The position requires knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle. The candidate must have experience adapting to an environment with periodic changing of business priorities.

    

  1. Act as a primary SME liaison between business users and IT project team.

  2. Leads functional requirements gathering, definition, gap analysis and documentation with business and partner teams, independent of direction with respect to the product ownership that falls under the IT Tools team.

  3. Facilitate requirements, standards, and best practices walkthroughs with developers, architects, testing team and reviews test cases for accuracy and thoroughness.

  4. Provides estimates for work efforts on new projects, user stories, and sprint planning.

  5. Contribute to development of user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate

 

 

  1. The position requires strong communication skills to lead and interact with architects, business partners, project managers, developers, testing team, vendors, operations and other associated teams. 

  2. The position requires knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle. The candidate must be familiar with use of agile methodology using User Stories, Sprints, and Scrum meetings. The candidate must have experience adapting to an environment with periodic changing of business priorities.

  3. 3 to 5 years of business systems analysis experience.

  4. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or work related positions.

  5. Prefer - 1 + years of IT tools (Atlassian products such as JIRA & Bitbucket, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Eclipse, IBM’s RAD, Powerbuilder, Microsoft Visual Studio etc).
