Job Summary: Proposes, researches, writes, produces, and distributes a wide range of internal communications. Develops, designs, executes, and evaluates internal communication projects. Consult with the business on appropriate media, communication methods, and key messages to use to best reach the target audience.
Functional Responsibilities: Working independently, proposes, researches, and writes a wide range of moderate to complex internal communications. Conceives, designs, executes, and evaluates, moderate to complex internal communications projects, including scheduling, budgeting, editing, securing approvals, production, and distribution. Provides guidance and advice to clients on formulating key messages and the most effective methods and media. Collaborates with internal departments to ensure an integrated communications approach. Supports moderate to large meetings and conferences by creating speeches, presentations, and support materials. Assists with the creation and production of LOB and/or department-wide internal communications including newsletters, news and feature articles, e-mails, etc. May negotiate vendor contracts. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Typical Experience: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related discipline. 7-10 yrs. relevant business experience.
