The GTM Readiness Lead represents Sales and presales to Product Business Units in order to drive a better customer experience by integrating into the product release cycle and working closely with the Product BU, Education, Enablement, Services, and Channel teams to ensure that Field teams have the readiness components they need to effectively sell and extend the products in our accounts. Provides visibility to the field by leading Readiness Reviews that delivers product release updates and positioning clarity to help maximize the revenue opportunity. Provides visibility to the BU from the field by leading Product Interlocks and Field Forums that consolidates and amplifies the field voice to help shape product direction to make our products more sellable in the market. Identifies larger issues that are blocking or slowing sales and drives remediation through cross functional focus groups from the field and BU
Plays a visible leadership role in the acceleration and adoption of EMC products and services. Has deep understanding of DELL EMC and competitive technology and is responsible for translating/applying this knowledge into strategic initiatives. Often interfaces with senior leadership to assess major business operations and addresses product needs. Consults with business unit leads to answer field based questions and remove objections that arise in a sales campaigns.
**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Successfully builds relationships with field teams and product business units in support of product launches
+ Leads and ensures execution of GTM Readiness objectives. Focus areas include: product launches, kick offs, training & development, voice of the field, cross functional team integration, and best practice sharing.
+ Assimilates knowledge to the field for new product launches in order to drive enhanced revenue and TCE
+ Interacts regularly with divisional sales teams and cross-functional counter parts to uncover future opportunities, gain feedback and communicate directly to product business unit leads.
+ Able to communicate with senior leadership within Sales Teams, Product Business Units, Delivery Practices, and Channel Leads. Provides feedback of Field requirements to DELL EMC''s engineering and marketing organizations. Often participates in and presents at Field forums, can identify future trends/technologies and is influential in building this into the business strategy.
