In this role, you will engage senior technology decision makers in order to understand their challenges and creatively achieve their greatest objectives. Built upon proven performance relative to your level, as a consultant, you will work with Microsoft’s partners and US Government Customers to assist in:
Crafting, building and delivering high quality engagements around Microsoft’s solution areas, technologies and products in diverse client environments.
Stabilizing developed solutions using Microsoft methodologies in complex customer environments.
The design and development of integrated solutions using the latest Microsoft products and technologies

At least 7 years of experience in an Enterprise technical support environment with demonstrated knowledge in:
•Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 operating systems
•Windows Server 2012 R2 and higher
•Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM) with an overall understanding of and how System Center components integrate with Orchestrator (SCORCH), Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Operations Manager (SCOM).
•Power Shell scripting and automation
•Datacenter management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) processes
•SCSM architecture including the Service Manager management group and the Service Manager data warehouse management group
•The different SCSM DW databases and how they interact with each other
•SCSM implementations of ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Service Requests
•Investigating SCSM related issues whether they are in SCSM or one of the SCSM databases
•Private Cloud and Hybrid cloud configurations, patterns, practices and Azure automation
•An ability to build, test, pilot, deploy and assist in customer implementation of solutions
•Mid-level technology decision maker discussions related to design, test, deployment and O&M
•Product Lifecycle Management and Governance
•Windows high availability solutions including Hyper-V and Windows LBFO/Clustering
•Evaluation of products and technical standards
•Organization of rapid adopter or Beta programs
•You should have a technical degree or equivalent work experience

Each consulting engagement is customized to serve the client’s rare needs where you will diagnose and correct performance problems.

This role requires a technically strong Consultant who is inventive, confident, and has exhibited skill in IT Infrastructure design and deployment.

Security Requirements:
The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
Clearance Verification:
This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel Requirements:
Travel is an integral part of this position. You should be willing to travel as is demanded by the needs of our customers and our business. This position may require travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time. Overnight travel may also be required.
