Position Summary: We have an exciting new opportunity in Scottsdale, AZ, in our Enterprise Analytics team!
This role provides operational guidance and analytical support of the Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) program. Position is responsible for the collection, analysis, compiling and reporting of RDS eligible subsidy drug data generated from multiple internal/external data systems in order to ensure accurate and complete reporting.
You will ensure that all RDS required reports are completed timely and accurately in order to meet/exceed CMS and Client expectations; in support of Client performance guarantees, service level agreements and RDS required submission deadlines.
You'll work with colleagues to identify and investigate quality issues, and is responsible for maintaining relationships with internal/external partners to ensure effective and accurate communication.
You must have the ability to develop a full understanding of the Government guidance, underlying data elements, and SQL code utilized to create reports and will work to identify and explain or correct all trend and data anomalies within various RDS cost reports. This position will interface directly internal stakeholders and data owners, and will interface directly with CVS Caremark clients, CMS/RDS vendors, and external data auditors.
You’ll also be responsible for supporting the enhancement of our existing reporting and modeling tools; supporting the design and implementation of programs, reports, and analysis to improve customer satisfaction; assisting in the development and testing of any new reports; assisting with the development of process improvement and documentation to meet the needs of internal/external customers and ensuring all RDS cost reports are running as efficiently and accurately as possible.
Required Qualifications: To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience analyzing large amounts of data with SAS
Three years of experience supporting internal and external customers with data and reporting needs
Candidates also must have at least three years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Three years of advanced experience developing queries utilizing SQL and VBA.
Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of data structures and methodologies.
Experience in Medicare Part-D or other government reporting sectors
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
Knowledgeable in MS Visio, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and SQL.
Superior analytic skills, with a proven ability to solve complex logical challenges and synthesize data to develop meaningful insights.
Cross-functional team work, collaboration and strong oral and written communication skills
