To take advantage of this opportunity, MetLife is seeking a Senior Content Strategist, reporting to the VP of Content Strategy, focused on developing strategies for content creation and distribution. The Senior Content Strategist will have a deep understanding of how content can be leveraged to increase awareness and acquisition through SEO, enhance the customer experience on the Web, and increase and deepen relationships with the brand through MetLife’s global social channels. Key to this role will be developing global strategies that can be taught and adapted by other markets around the globe. The Senior Content Strategist will also manage MetLife’s relationship with Contently, while also helping to provide direction to the global writing team and other writers across global markets. Administrative duties will include managing editorial calendars, working with key business partners on their content needs, managing the MetLife blog, building relationships with third-party vendors and content distributors, and day-to-day editing and writing of content. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about content’s role in brand differentiation and customer engagement.
