Description of Work:
Provide accurate and timely follow-through on all call tasks and commitments and ensure that communications are clear, proper action is taken and all internal processes are followed according to the CSL Behring policies and program specific work instructions as outlined.

Open enrollment assistance
BI's follow up
Basic Benefit Verification;
This includes an outbound call/inquiry to the insurance provider for detailed information related to the reimbursement specific to that patient's insurance coverage
Communications back to the provider/patient.
Identify issues that occur in the field during the reimbursement process and works to resolve in a timely manner.

Insurance calls:
a) Responsible for handling all incoming calls to assigned regions.
b) Funnel work to the appropriate team based on region, after entering patient specific information.

Outreach to CareZ patient population - renewing patient consent if needed during open enrollment calls.
Tracking (via Excel spreadsheet) call outcomes
Extended responsibilities
Open enrollment assistance and proactive outreach to existing patients

Open enrollment assistance and proactive outreach to existing patients

Skills/Qualifications:
• Experience conducting and documenting patient health insurance benefit investigations, prior authorizations, and appeals is a must
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercially insured payer common practices and policies is a must
• Knowledge of the Health Insurance Market Place and the Affordable Care Act preferred
• Knowledge of ICD9/ICD10 coding is preferred
• Critical and creative thinking is a must
• Important to have a strong attention to detail
