Under the direction of the CT Supervisor, Director/Manager of Imaging, and Radiologists, the CT Technologist will perform all computerized tomography imaging procedures/exams in adherence to established departmental policy/procedures, and State guidelines, using best practice to ensure lowest possible dose.Qualifications: LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum: Current ARRT, Current Certification in CT, Current CRT and Fluoro, Venipuncture License, and Current BCLS issued by the American Heart Association within 2 weeks of employment.
- Minimum: Must have at least one-year experience as a Rad Tech plus one-year of continuous experience as a CT Tech. Must have appropriate knowledge of medical terminology, with the ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures, diagnoses, and knowledge of human anatomy and pathology. Previous cross-sectional anatomy required.
- Preferred: Prior experience on GE, and AIRO CT scanners is preferred. Ability to perform CT exams such as: perfusion, angiograms and 3D post-processing is preferred.
- Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
