Role Summary:

As Sr. Delivery Analyst for Deployment Cutover within the SAP CoE, you will be responsible for integrated planning, execution and communication of SAP business deployment cutovers lockstep with other external systems and shared teams. As cutover lead, you will be required to develop and manage SAP deployment strategy to prepare the organization for a successful cutover and implementation, including legacy decommissioning, business freeze/continuity.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Sr. Delivery Analyst for Deployment Cutover will:

+ Partner with SAP COE, business deployment and shared services teams to define timelines and cutover project plans through the execution life cycle of the SAP deployment project

+ Monitor data and cutover progress and communicate to project and leadership teams including status, progress, issues, etc.

+ Execute planning and delivery of all Cutover Approach aspects including Cutover Procedures, Cutover Reporting, Cutover Kickoff, Entry and Exit Criteria, Data Load and Mitigation Approach, Risk Management, Shutdown & Startup Procedures, etc.

+ Provide inputs into Quality Gate reviews for all data and cutover related activities

+ Build and maintain tools and templates for SAP cutover management in addition to communication plans

+ Facilitate cutover dress rehearsals for both data and technical areas in non-production landscape with all involved teams for a project deployment

+ Design complex project structures including team structure, governance, issues / risk escalation and decision processes, ways of working, meetings structure

+ Lead integration and optimization of technical and business cutover plans into the overall deployment cutover plan

+ Support and improve our tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management

+ Make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact

+ Profile build process and identifies bottlenecks

+ Demonstrate expertise in writing scripts to automate tasks. Implements Continuous Integration/Deployment build principles

+ Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project

+ Help businesses develop an overall strategy for deploying code. Contribute to planning and strategy with his/her ideas. Draw off experience in order to influence others

+ Be an expert at applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.

+ Be able to document procedures for building and deploying

Qualifications/Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

+ Mminimum of 5 years experience in delivering 1-2 SAP full global deployments OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience delivering 1-2 SAP full global deployments

+ Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time, as required

Desired Characteristics:

+ Must be willing to work out of an office located in Atlanta, GA

+ Minimum 7 years of experience with SAP with background in delivery, deployment and change management

+ Deep understanding and working knowledge of SAP deployment cutovers spanning diverse teams and integrated systems

+ Experience with a large transformational effort is desired. Proven experience in leading global teams and working effectively in a matrix organization model

+ Strong communication skills, ability to develop partnership with cross functional teams and develop an inclusive & collaborative environment

+ Experience working with remote/global teams and ability to travel as needed to ensure success of the projects

+ Practical exposure to, and experienced in, IT Service Management with process oriented perspective

+ Experience with driving Agile delivery execution leveraging DevOps principles across a global team

+ Strong ability to guide and influence a highly matrixed and cross-functional team

+ Ability to manage and drive change across the organization. Be able to motivate the team and drive clear accountability & responsibility within the team
