POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Director of Performance Management is responsible for all aspects of performance management for the Sales and Revenue Management corporate and field teams. He/She will work under the leadership of the VP of Revenue Management to design, develop, and operationalize all processes and tools required to track and manage performance of new and steady state business processes, to ensure effectiveness and ability to deliver desired results. This position will lead a team of analytical resources to design metrics, routines, and supporting tools to ensure the right activities and behaviors are measured, and the ability to correlate those behaviors to financial results.

This individual will be responsible for the end to end development and ownership of all performance management processes for Sales and Revenue Management. This will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ability to effectively lead and manage multiple complex projects
  • Demonstrates influencing skills with the ability to easily connect in a credible manner with field and headquarter leadership
  • Possesses a deep understanding and demonstrated capability for strategy, process engineering, enabling technologies, and measurement
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  • Able to drive accountability among key stakeholders with diverse needs and interests
  • Thinks and acts proactively rather than reactively and directs resources and stakeholders accordingly
  • Able to lead and manage a team with diverse knowledge, skills and abilities forward to achieve common goals and objectives

  • 4 year bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting or related
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience working in a project, results- driven role or management consulting position, with at least 5 years of specific experience in a Revenue Management, Sales Operations, or Finance leadership role within a leading organization
  • 5+ years working in foodservice distribution required, with demonstrated understanding in the areas of merchandising, finance, sales, marketing, and field execution
  • Experience in cost and price management, monitoring, and scorecarding to drive impact
  • Experience in sales operations initiatives and deployments

The employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • This position will be located at the headquarters facility in Houston Texas
  • Up to 25% travel may be required in this role
  • Must be able to travel on occasion to Sysco facilities or operating companies
