Coordinate, manage and lead IT infrastructure needs across the Lighting and Current business units, including accountability for solution design, development and operations. Leads a team of architects working on highly complex SAP ERPs supporting, evaluating, recommending, architecting, and porting GE's SAP ERPs to strategic infrastructure and cloud platforms.
+ Full responsibility for leadership & staffing of DTInfrastructure organization: recruits, provides training & education,leads, and retains a high performing team of technology professionalsresponsible for the Infrastructure program. Responsible for development,performance management, and coaching of direct reports.
+ Provide strategic budget oversight for areas within theinfrastructure management team's accountability for operating within the setoperating and capital budget parameters.
+ Align company's current technology infrastructure with thestrategic business needs & plans.
+ Drive strategic and operational governance processes of thebusiness unit as a member of the senior leadership team.
+ Maintain a strong control of the infrastructure environmentthat is responsive to the risks across all aspects of technology.
+ Work collaboratively with other DT leadership team toproduce infrastructure architecture, standards and policies.
+ Partner with digital product development teams to assess andimplement technology best practices, cost effective product architectures, andassist where appropriate in IT Operations of associated products. Monitorchanges and advancements in technology to discover ways we can gain acompetitive advantage
+ Select and plan implementation of new technology tostreamline operations and help optimize our strategic initiatives. Act assubject matter expert & provide guidance to professionals and other staffwithin the organization. Keep abreast of industry standards, practices and newtechnologies to enhance key stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Partner with Security and Compliance Teams to ensure securecomputing environment, policy enforcement, threat & vulnerabilitymanagement, incident management and compliance fulfillment.
+ Provide stewardship for IT change management, disasterrecovery and supports business continuity initiatives.
+ Future responsibilities will include leadership of globalteam in multiple geographies
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" field(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) from accredited institution.
+ 8+ years of proven success managing complex and diversetechnology operations and teams, with at least 5 years involving delivery ofinfrastructure solutions and operational excellence.
+ Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We willnot sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for thisjob opening.
+ 10+ years of global vendor management experience
+ Prior experience in M&A Integrations and Divestitures
+ Previous experience in enterprise architecture
+ Familiar with Infrastructure services for SAP; SAP as ERPsystem, SalesForce and Sox
+ Expertise and demonstrated technical competence in multipletechnology domains with focus on virtualization, cloud, server, network, voiceand data systems.
+ ITIL v3 foundations certification or equivalent experience
+ Previous leadership of Global IT Infrastructureorganization(s) within a matrixed organization
