21st Century Skills Leader 
The Learning & Readiness team is looking for a senior leader to lead a new 21st Century Technical Skills team, who demonstrates exceptional leadership and management skills with a combination of strong stakeholder management across MSFT business leaders, and the ability to create programs that help the audience and MSFT meet their goals.   
It’s an exciting time to join the Learning and Readiness team.  We are redefining our approach to learning for employees, customers and our partners to ensure learning becomes a central piece of our culture.  As the leader of the 21st Century Technical Skills team you will need to be the learning business partner to the philanthropy and educational teams.  You will be responsible for curating/building technical job skills curriculum and you will own the partnership/consortium strategy.    
In partnership with the Philanthropies and Education teams, develop and land a comprehensive program to enable individuals and institutions to develop 21st century technical workforce skills   
Manages a high performing team deliver highly complex programs across multiple organizations.  
Learning business partner to philanthropy and educational teams.  
Curates/builds curriculum to increase technical  job skills.  
Develops near and long-term strategy on Partnerships/Consortiums  
Recruiting, hiring, and retaining strong talent to build out your team  
Brings together diverse perspectives, technologies, and organizations to proactively respond to customer needs in an integrated and aligned manner.   
Utilizes metrics and data to measure success, impact, gain insights, and work with team on innovation.  
Minimum 15+ years of relevant business leadership experience in Enterprise business development, software consulting or development  
BS/BA degree, MBA preferred  
Experience leading complex organization and balancing priorities of executive stakeholders  
Proven change management experience in leading with clarity, generating energy and delivering success.  
Adapts his or her leadership approach depending on talent and business needs. Displays an executive presence: is poised, articulate, thoughtful, and candid.  
Proven ability to leverages deep knowledge of customers, partners, internal groups, and/or end users to advise on strategies or solutions to plan, strategize, and influence priorities and decisions to increase satisfaction, performance, and the experience across the organization.   
Proven experience developing strategic relationships internally and externally  
Sought out for expertise and influence in his or her field to drive industry vision. Represents Microsoft at industry events and leads content delivery at customer engagements.  
Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving ability, ranging from conceptualization to quantitative with modeling fluency.  
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends  
Proven experience developing and leading vision and strategy in an organization  
Deals well with ambiguity, identifies systemic approaches to solving problems.  
Results driven; strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written communication  
Strong communication skills
