ROLE SUMMARY: Responsible for the Global Alliances P&L. Set the strategic direction of the Alliances business. Oversee the day to day operations of the Alliances business including management of relevant external stakeholders. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver on budget targets for the Alliances business, including Revenue, IBT, and SIA. Translate short, near, and longer term strategy into tactics and deliverables - drive execution Manage all day to day elements of the business Build strong relationships with external stakeholders (GAVI, UNICEF, etc) Identify business opportunities, respond to RFPs and run monthly supply meetings with internal and external stakeholders Contribute to Pfizer's external reputation Manage small team of direct reports Active member of VCO Leadership Team Effectively engage internal functions (Medical, Finance, Corporate Affairs, etc) and manage cross functional teams QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of Pharmaceutical Experience in Commercial Setting Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred. Effective in matrix organization; demonstrated initiative, strong strategic and leadership skills. Ability to build strong cross-functional and regional partnerships to influence colleagues outside of direct reporting structure. Demonstrated strategic capabilities with a record of working on long term public-private partnership projects a plus Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team-based environment and to partner with internal and external stakeholders. Solid analytical and strategic thinking; ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities; ability to balance short and long term priorities. Strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership. Ability to work independently; self starter to drive value creation. Possesses enthusiasm, energy, confidence and outstanding communication skills. Track record of hands on style to both manage and deliver work product.
