Software engineers on our AIMA (Authentication, Identity Management, Authorization) team are responsible for the design and implementation of all security features of the OneFS operating system. This includes client and server libraries and services for authentication, access control, and user and group management. Team members have the unique challenge of understanding Windows, POSIX, and Cloud security models and unifying them into a single consistent and easy to manage sub-system for both other developers and system administrators.
As the leader of these very talented, very diverse teams, you will provide product vision, business leadership and entrepreneurship, plus contribute positively as a member of Engineering’s Leadership Team to achieve goals division-wide.
You will use your strong technical competencies and operational savvy to take charge of multiple teams responsible for these revenue generating products/services. This is a great opportunity to bring modern tools and technologies into the portfolio for OneFS System Management.
Success in this role will be defined by your ability to execute along the following lines:
+ With diplomacy and credibility, lead and mentor strong engineering teams to operationally deliver on strategic milestones in future releases

+ EE, CompE, CS, or BBA degree; or equivalent experience
+ Success in designing and shipping storage platforms
+ Strong understanding of storage technologies and protocols
+ Experience with working with hardware and firmware teams in storage related development
+ Experience in working with security, authentication or Identify management software environments
+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills in conjunction with an executive level presence that lends itself to managing both technical & executive level personnel both internally and externally to the Engineering organization
+ Experience working with remote teams across the globe
+ 8+ years of successfully developing software, having shipped multiple products or services
+ Of those years of engineering experience, a proven track record of successfully leading/performance-managing that team to deliver revenue-generating software
+ 2+ years of experience managing multiple teams simultaneously of greater than 15 persons in size
**Desired Domain Expertise:**
+ Platform or systems development experience, preferably in the storage field
+ Node/Cluster Configuration Monitoring Analytics or similar storage management systems
+ Proficiency in open source and Windows engineering environments, also agile/scrum practices
+ Authentication, Identity Management or Access commercial software development experience
+ Software defined storage
