A SQL Software Engineer job in San Diego, CA is available courtesy of Adecco Engineering and Technology. Candidates must have extensive knowledge creating complex SQL query, strong communication skills, and experience with agile methodologies.
Software Quality ensures quality is built into software development products by utilizing a combination of preventative and appraisal methods, at all phases of development, to keep defects from getting into production. Demonstrates expert knowledge in software quality concepts. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans. Writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
2-3 years solid experience in automation experience/executed or modified automation scripts.
At least 2 years solid experience creating test cases using Microsoft Test Manager or Quality Center
At least 2 years solid experience reporting and troubleshooting bugs using TFS or Quality Center.
Strong communication (written and verbal) skill.
Experience in Agile methodology.
Experience/knowledge on drug formulary.
Creating complex SQL queries. Having SQL in their test environment will not sufficient.
Capability to lead or work independently.
Understand HIPPA regulations and/or FDA regulations
