Current Need

This position is responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of several operating groups across the RelayHealth Intelligence (RHI) business within McKesson Connected Care & Analytics (MCCA).  The Senior Analyst is responsible for developing, interpreting and implementing financial concepts for financial planning and control. Other tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance
  • Gather, analyze, prepare, and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc.
  • Perform economic research and study in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements


Position Description 

The right person for this position will demonstrate a balance of strong financial analysis and hands-on business partnership.  Additional attributes include detailed data compilation, review and analysis, independence, good business judgment, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. You must have excellent analytical and communication skills, business acumen, and proactively partner with senior business leaders.  Ideal candidate will have background with:

  • Planning – support development, preparation, and analysis of the 3-year strategic plan and annual budget
  • Analysis – Administer monthly standard and ad-hoc financial analysis of performance (against history, budget, forecast, and competitors) and investment alternatives, etc.
  • Management Reporting – Assist with the development of financial reports and to support the business activities of the business leadership team
  • Special Projects – Support special projects as required 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
5+ years accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar experience

Critical Skills

  • Experience with large ERP system or a financial planning tool
  • Experience with reviewing large amounts of data and analyze raw information
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  • Advanced MS Office experience


Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience with budgeting, planning, or revenue support is highly preferred
  • Exposure to working in a support function – engaging and support business units and senior leaders highly preferred

Education
MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience
