Under general supervision, elicit, analyze, validate and document detailed business, organizational, operational, and/or system requirements. Responsible for understanding the needs of HR partners and stakeholders to ensure that solutions to business and/or system problems and opportunities are aligned to the needs of the organization. Devise or modify procedures to solve moderately complex problems, which include analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translating into proper business and/or system requirements. Provides direction/input to various other project documents such as HRIS project plans, budget planning/estimates, system/process and TSA management, etc.

 

  • Reporting to a Head of HR Operations, but works autonomously, oversees the planning/implementation of very large/critical HR initiatives
  • Conducts complex research and analysis to quantify business opportunities and issues and develops formal recommendations for presentation to management
  • Oversees complex and time sensitive HR functional projects, including the day to day oversight over the HR budget.
  • Develops detailed project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports tied to critical HR initiatives
  • Runs project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis, with specific focus on budget/expense management, as well as the HR system implementation
  • Provides updates regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives
  • Manages relationships with TSA partners, as well as outside vendors. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required based on the needs of the overall Brighthouse HR strategy.  Includes, but is not limited to:
    • Handle moderate to complex calls and or written requests received from Brighthouse members regarding policies and procedures by accessing various systems to obtain needed information requiring investigation and interaction with vendors.
    • Manage delivery and analysis of employee workforce analytics.
    • Acts as a liaison with IT and/or the vendors to define requirements in the creation, upgrading, and maintenance of HRIS reports, databases and programs

  • Advanced knowledge of the supported business functions processes/procedures, workflow, systems, and transactions.
  • 5-7 Years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Proficient customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Confidentiality and tact in dealing with sensitive employee information.
  • Demonstrated initiative, follow up and problem solving skills
  • Strong PC skills and knowledge of HCMS and/or case management tools.
