-With some direction handles complex trade related matters for a defined country or region, including but not limited to product classifications, license applications, origin determinations, research to resolve issues, business or governmental agency inquiries. 
-Under limited supervision and guided direction helps to communicate and train on policies, regulations. 
- Helps maintain and develop broker management processes
- Helps drive continuous improvement projects in support of medium sized projects and works with project teams to help implement these solutions.
- Provides subject matter expertise on more complex issues involving specific country or region regulations.
-Monitor clearance delays and work with forwarders and stakeholders to resolve situations as they arise
-Develop and maintain correct trade data, documentation, reports and procedures
-Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role.
Requires
 3+ years related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 1+ years with Master's Degree
Comprehensive knowledge of trade compliance regulations 
Working knowledge of the complexities and requirements of international business
Ability to interpret and conceptualize guidelines of compliance and use sound business judgement within defined policies and practices.
Familiarity with trade compliance software  
Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve diverse range of complex problems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Above average written and verbal communication skills
