-With minimal supervision and direction handles complex trade related matters, including but not limited to product classifications, license applications, origin determinations, research to resolve business or governmental agency inquiries. 
-Participate on and lead project teams to support trade and supply chain initiatives
-Monitor clearance delays and work with forwarders and stakeholders to resolve situations as they arise
-Develop and maintain correct trade data, documentation, reports and procedures
-Provide leadership to enable and develop trade compliance auditing
-Perform operational activities relating to trade processes maintained by the Trade team, including classification databases, valuation determinations, export screening, end use/end user verification and documentation support
-Acts as a subject matter expert and serves as point of escalation to resolve shipment holds or other issues to facilitate the release of goods subject or restricted by regulatory requirements
-Provide advice to help improve the relationship, overall service capabilities, and drive improvements and efficiencies in established processes
-Leads projects to enhance systems, processes, policies and helps lead team to implement these solutions and or report to Management for review and sign-off. 
Requires
-5+ years relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3+ years with Master's Degree
-Working knowledge of compliance regulations (e.g. Keen understanding of International Trade Regulations, e.g. Export Administration Regulations and or Code of Federal Regulations Title 19)
- Strong understanding of the complexities and requirements of international business
- Experience with high tech and encryption regulations and products
- Strong ability to interpret and conceptualize guidelines of compliance
-Familiarity with trade compliance software, preferably Oracle GTM or TradeSphere  
-Must be able to handle multiple tasks and solve problems in a dynamic environment
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
