Sr Manager, Digital Product Management - Reimagine Coach

In order to build this capability across Capital One Financial Services, we are need awesome talent who deeply understand customers and designing for delight, but also love to coach.  This small team will be the “Navy Seals” of Capital One Financial Services – partnering with teams on the toughest problems, building their capabilities, while getting to answers, with speed and agility.  This small group is the cream of the crop and will jumpstart your career and reputation at Cap One.   After this tour of duty, you have a number of choices of what’s next … moving into a product management role (Discovery or , continuing in Capital One University (leadership & development), personal coaching, strategy or innovation roles … a number of choices, all accelerated through this tour of duty. 


  • Define and create the “bays” from scratch, in partnership with the “Bay team” and the Head of the Garage
  • Test, learn & iterate into an awesome experience that achieves our stated goals
  • Roll up your sleeves to coach teams on their toughest problems in 1-4 week stints, driving them to solution while building their capability and skills in a hands on way … problems ranging from the strategic (e.g. bold vision, customer problem, enduring customer benefits) to discovery projects (how to solve for a specific pain) to developing the best “how” for a new functionality
  • Build your own capability through extensive study and partnership externally – finding cutting edge methodologies, understanding emerging technologies, identifying new development opportunities
  • Create a robust toolkit to be leveraged in the Bays and outside – a set of tools and methodologies to deploy for the right problem 
  • Teach as part of Capital One University as we build capability at the Leadership and Associate levels across the board

 Bachelor’s Degree or military experience 
- At least 5 years of experience in digital product management 

- Master's of Business Administration
- 3-5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products 
- 3-5 years of experience in Agile product management
