This role will report into the Director of Acquisition & Customer Marketing and will be focused on the Hotel Marketing and Growth Strategy. The incumbent will report into marketing but will be responsible for developing and driving the marketing and operational growth strategy in partnership with Global Supplier Enablement, Global Sales Enablement, Operations and Commercial (Sales & Client Management). Success in this role will be achieved through a coordinated marketing plan (e.g.: channels, content, offers, etc...) aligned to measureable results (e.g.: room nights, adoption rate, supplier targets, revenue) that can drive an increase in hotel bookings across the GBT business, with a focus on the US Middle Market segment. Candidates must be have tenured experience in Business Travel or the Hotel Industry and be a versatile B2B marketer

  • Develop and execute an annual multi-channel marketing plan that aligns to the operational growth strategy for GBT's hotel program and speaks to all client constituents (Decision Maker, Travel Manager, & Traveler)
  • Design marketing campaigns, messaging and content that can be leveraged across markets to enable regional hotel program awareness and marketing
  • Support the Global Supplier Relationship (GSR) team with supplier facing content to support negotiations and new supplier relationship building
  • Enhance the GBT hotel value proposition ongoing as new content is procured and new benefits launched
  • Set marketing KPIs and monitor performance of campaigns and initiatives
  • Monitor the external hotel market and identify competitive insights and market trends to enhance GBT's hotel value message
  • Create new marketing materials and inform existing sales materials as new and different hotel suppliers join GBT
  • Effectively manage the ongoing demands of a large B2B sales and client organization and prioritize to ensure focus on the operational strategy and associate
  • Encourage usage of and monitor effectiveness of hotel collateral and sales tools to determine ongoing business needs and improvement areas
  • Facilitate client focus groups or research to determine GBT strengths, opportunities and weaknesses in the market
  • Work to ensure message across globe is resonating and relevant; as needed support regional messaging needs
  • Role will have internal support for digital/video assets, copywriting, creative support and financial analysis

  • 7+ years experience in B2B marketing, with a specialization in hotel strategy or supplier marketing
  • Understanding of hotel economics, value drivers and market dynamics
  • Strong influencing, relationship building and communication skills to ensure good collaboration across the GBT business
  • Track record for building a plan, gaining consensus and executing to drive results
  • Comfort presenting to senior leaders and external partners, such as travel suppliers
  • Customer mindset with the ability to translate supplier value into multiple value messages (travel manager, decision maker, traveler)
  • Proven self starter who can identify new opportunities and navigate through ambiguity
  • High comfort with using analytics and data to inform business models,
  • MBA preferred
  • Role will be based in Jersey City, NJ Area
