Capital One Home Loans has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Manager, Mortgage CO-OP/Condo Underwriting Lead. As the Sr Manager, Mortgage CO-OP/Condo Underwriting Lead, you will work closely with smart, talented people who are leading experts in the mortgage industry. You will be responsible for the Co-op/Condo Project Review team and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures while delivering exceptional results. You will partner closely with key stakeholders in sales, processing and closing in delivering a first-rate customer experience. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Co-op/Condo underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 5 years mortgage underwriting experience
- At least 5 years experience in people management
- MBA or Masters Degree
- 10 years mortgage underwriting experience
- 8 years people management experience
- 5 years Condominium Project Review experience or 5 years CO-OP Project Review experience
