McKesson is seeking a Sr. Manager, Product Management, to join the Heath Systems Marketing team.
Position Description/Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop market, customer and product requirements for products, programs and services in product various product categories for health systems and alternate site pharmacy
- Oversee product development and product life cycle management (from concept to sunset)
- Analyze market size/ opportunity and assess competitive landscape
- Build and implement customer targeting and market share penetration strategies
- Establish product campaigns and promotions and coordinate execution with product marketing and communications teams
- Serve as subject matter expert for field sales team and customers
5+ years of product management experience including 2+ years managerial experienceCritical Skills
- Strong ability to size up market opportunity and give a market assessment based on customer product requirements
- Experience around the product development cycle and lifecycle of a service offering product (vs. tangible product
- Background in Product management for services
- Ability to drive a long-term strategy based on competition, market dynamics and emerging technologies
- Excellent cross-functional team, project and organizational leadership skills with the proven ability to interact with and influence varied and diverse personalities across all levels and functions
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in service related offerings around the ambulatory, outpatient or retail space
- Healthcare experience
- Exceptional ability to develop product strategies/business plans and turn that vision into reality
