Production Support, Sr. Manager
Capital One is offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a new high paced support organization with emphasis on supporting our application portfolio.
The roles, responsibilities and support pod are being built from the ground up to provide 24x7 support. The individual manages production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer-generated data. Handles support issues and requirements for applications in the assigned portfolio, regulatory requirements for portfolio, and participates in projects that impact portfolio.
-Supervises daily activities of production to ensure timely and effective reporting, tracking, follow-up and communication of incidents.
-Ensures success of all production release and deployment activities.
-Develops and maintains availability, performance, and capacity metrics. Participates in project work to support business initiatives, as needed.
- Drives improvements to resiliency and supportability of production systems in the organization's portfolio.
- Develops associate talent within the team.
-High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification or military experience.
-At least 4 years of Linux experience.
-At least 4 years of experience in Production Management
-At least 5 years of People Management experience
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
-ITIL Service Management Essentials OR ITIL Practitioner certificate.
-6 years of experience in Production Support Management.
-4 years of experience in IT Process Management.
