Sr Manager, Shopper Insights Strategy - Walmart Inc./Sam's Club

This role leads the development and execution of Walmart Inc. and Sam's Club shopper learning agenda and commercialization of the shopper strategies against the greatest growth opportunities for PepsiCo and Walmart Inc/Sam's.

  • Develops and aligns Demand Xcelerator (DX) learning agenda on Walmart's/Sam's priority shopper problems to solve and aligns with key business and customer stakeholders
  • Primary liaison with GCIA (Global Customer Insights & Analytics) team to drive accelerated growth, market share gains, and elevate our partnership via
    • Store of the Future
    • Front End Transformation
  • Infuse the voice of the shopper into PepsiCo's 11 category advisorship relationships at Walmart
  • Infuse the voice of the shopper into Walmart early innovation launches and Sam's innovation incubator
  • Collaborates with DX Shopper Behavior and Capabilities/Analytics teams to integrate their capabilities and insights to identify biggest future opportunities for Walmart/Sam's
  • Advance Sam's Club member leadership via:
    • Portfolio & Item ­optimization (Snacks, Beverages & Breakfast)
    • Proactive partner on Business Member Advisory Council­
  • Advance Walmart/Sam's Club Omni-channel leadership via:
    • Mapping of Shopper behavior within and across Walmart Inc's formats to influence Big Bets
    • Lead insights for Walmart's Grocery Home Shopping Foundation partnership
    • Mapping of Sam's Club pick up, drop ship and .com member behavior
  • Designs and creates compelling, clear, and concise presentations for senior management and customer engagements
  • Keeps apprised of brand insights, retail industry and consumer trends and uses this data to educate Walmart/Sam's Club marketing, insights and sales teams
  • Partners with Walmart/Sam's Club Insights and Category Leadership on joint business partner (JBP) toolkit and selling materials
