Johnson & Johnson, Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Supply Planning BPO. This position is to be located preferably in Somerville, NJ with considerations made to Irvine, CA, Brussels, Belgium, or any Ethicon / CSS facility in the United States. Supply Planning Business Process Owner will be reporting into the Planning Excellence organization within Ethicon / CSS (part of Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices Supply Chain). Planning Excellence is responsible to improve the maturity of core planning processes (demand planning, supply planning, production planning, S&OP) by introducing innovative supply chain capabilities. Supply Planning consists of Supply Network Planning and Inventory Planning.

Supply Planning Business Process Owner Responsibilities:

Developing and leading strategy for the ETH/CSS SP advanced planning processes & systems 
Providing leadership and vision to identify opportunities within Supply Network and Inventory planning
Implementing solutions for transformational improvements, through the use of Process Excellence, Lean practices or other appropriate methodologies
Providing planning process subject matter expertise and thought leadership
Developing and maintaining knowledge on current processes & systems needed for supply chain planning and working with partners across the organization to determine business opportunities and keep the planning processes in line with the business needs
Benchmarking and leveraging best practices across business units, franchises and outside J&J
Driving planning optimization projects to ensure process reliability and create global visibility of the supply chain 
Ensure flawless and reliable functioning of the advanced planning systems 
Ownership of project portfolio management, prioritization and project status tracking for the ETH/CSS SP planning processes
Talent development and resource planning / management 
Supervising Managers and analysts in different regions
Reviewing/providing input to associates’ performance and development
Representation in cross franchise / functional initiatives and strategy discussions.
Ensuring availability of the planning results and data summaries to functional planning groups in all locations
Communicating and coordinating with various business units to resolve planning issues; acting as an interface between the Global Supply Chain business user community, leadership and the IT organization for various issues (not necessarily related to planning systems)
Implementing training program and knowledge transfer across the organization


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required with preference in Information Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related discipline, advanced degree (Master, MBA) highly preferred

A minimum of Ten (10) years’ experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing is required

Must possess a minimum of 4 years ‘of supervising experience  

Must possess in-depth knowledge of core supply planning processes 

Excellent project management & communication skills are required

Very good understanding and high comfort level with complex processes & systems is required 

Experience leading multi-site & cultural change management strategy is required 

Demonstrated presentation skills to all levels including VPs and senior leadership

Ability to develop and maintain business partnerships at all levels of the organization

Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Strong data analysis and problem solving skills

Demonstrate sound decision-making and influencing skills

Knowledge of advanced planning systems like PDP, Manugistics, SAP APO, OMP+, or JDA required

Global management experience is preferred 

Experience working within a global supply chain is preferred 

Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions

Supply chain experience within the medical device or healthcare industry is preferred 

High level of personal initiative, able to work with limited supervision

Demonstrated experience working with global user communities to meet complex needs

Aptitude for planning and good understanding of end-to-end planning processes

Sound understanding operations management / inventory management is required 

Green Belt/ Black Belt/ APIC CPIM certifications or equivalent are highly preferred
