The Sr. Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing at LinkedIn will be integral to the internal digital marketing agency team and be responsible for driving the performance and expansion of our digital marketing program for LinkedIn's premium subscriptions and Profinder. You should be comfortable managing large campaigns and budgets across multiple platforms and digital marketing channels. In this role you will be working closely with our marketing and agency partners to deliver digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
You should be highly analytical, well-organized and a great communicator/listener, with the ability to keep our customer's perspective at the forefront of all strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience using Adwords, Marin software or equivalent bid management tools, Google Analytics, Facebook and other social media platforms. Furthermore, the candidate will also possess a strong technical background, experience in working with marketing analytics, reporting best practices, pixel tracking systems, 3rd party technologies/agencies, requirements gathering, getting appropriate approvals, keeping schedules and budgets, and reporting program performance internally.
Primary Responsibilities:
Strategy and Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary day to day digital account manager and liaison between the internal digital marketing agency and the business units (Premium Subscription and Profinder)
  • Collaborate with the business unit on strategic guidance and definition of the digital marketing strategy
  • Influence decisions and drive behavior change with internal stakeholders (own team, business units)
  • Lead discussions and create cross-organizational alignment
Campaign Management
  • There will be a large focus on leading the global strategy and execution for SEM, but you will also manage campaigns for display, remarketing and paid social
  • Conduct competitive intelligence scans/benchmarking and develop strategies to adapt to changing environment
  • Report and analyze campaign performance, on a daily, weekly and monthly basis; develop insights and present QBRs
  • Provide performance analyses and make spend shift / optimization recommendations across all channels
  • Develop forecasts and ad-hoc projections for spend, revenue and ROI
  • Drive continuous improvement through implementation of new and creative ideas; develop a robust test and learn plan
  • Monitor and manage campaigns to meet and exceed targets for conversions and ROI within predetermined budgets
  • Manage tracking initiatives
  • Manage digital marketing agency to optimize and expand upon existing campaigns; drive agency to be proactive and think outside the box
  • Work with internal teams on creative development (banners, landing pages)
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. is required. B.S. /B.A. in Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Experience of subscription marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of performance/digital marketing (SEM/Display/Paid Social) and the paid media marketplace
  • Digital agency experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team building skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to demonstrate resourcefulness, motivation, initiative and leadership
  • Ability to build creative solutions and drive results
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams including web development, IT, sales ops and field marketing
  • MBA is a plus
