The SecureWorks Sr. Product Marketing Manager – position is a full-time role within the SecureWorks Marketing team. This role will lead a team of product marketers and responsibilities will include working closely with the SecureWorks Product Management and Sales teams in support of new service launches through development of go-to-market launch plans, development of positioning/messaging for services, development of competitive analysis, creation and management of new content, and enablement of sales with training content and tools.
This position requires up to 20% travel.
-Drive successful new service launches working closely with Lead Generation, PR/AR, Events and Training teams
-Establish strong relationships in practice areas to increase active participation by practice leads and personnel in marketing initiatives
-Evaluate market needs and buyers for Security and Risk Consulting/Incident Response services
-Develop compelling, solution-oriented messages that resonate with target audiences
-Develop new content pieces with business teams and individually including white papers, web copy, presentations and other collateral elements in support of new service launches and existing services
-Support training of sales staff working with the Training team
-Support Segment Marketing efforts
-Talent development and mentoring
-SCWX/DellEMC collaboration and teaming
As a managed security provider, SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

-Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, English, technology, journalism, communications, computer science or engineering required
-Prior Product Marketing experience working in the technology industry
-Pragmatic Marketing training preferred
-Information security knowledge and industry experience preferred
-Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla/Firefox, etc.)
-Understanding of security services industry including consulting, managed and cloud services and network and information security technologies
