The Senior Media Planner will be responsible for leading media programs for The Weather Company web and app products, reporting to the Media Manager. Campaigns are designed to drive awareness and acquisition primarily through digital channels. You will be in charge of external and internal online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across channels, working hand in hand with our Marketing Managers to ensure consistent messaging and results.
Develop integrated, strategic media plans across owned, operated and paid media channels for The Weather Channel and Weather Underground brands
Liaise and partner with B2C, B2B Ad Sales and B2B marketing and product teams across the company to develop media campaigns in support of company objectives
Work with marketing leads and media agency partners to drive the strategy and execution of media campaigns from conceptual planning to tactical recommendations, including flighting and budgets
Execute, report on and continuously optimize digital marketing campaigns across channels such as paid search, paid social, native video and display advertising
Immerse in all aspects of media, including platform capabilities, targeting opportunities, pricing formats and bidding strategies
Leverage A/B Testing to ensure decisions and optimizations are data and market driven
Develop a deep understanding of digital acquisition to consumer products, leveraging a variety of tools with first and third-party data
Responsible for weekly reporting and measurements for media plans throughout campaign length to stakeholders
Manage daily workload, work directly with Director to identify proactive opportunities
Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies
