Job Responsibilities

As a Sr. Media Planner, you will help assess the digital media landscape, meet with various business and product development teams, and creative studios to craft holisitic plans that encompass the wide array of "display media", including cross-platform, programmatic, data, interactive creative, content, video, consumer insights, and social, with the sole focus of customer experience at the base.

Job Description

Core job responsibilities include -

Strategy & Planning:
  • Design consumer experiences with creative digital ideas at the core of each program, including leveraging mobile apps, driving site traffic, enhancing gaming, content marketing, rich media, and video
  • Train and influence a team to utilize research tools & vendors to help shape framework of strategy as well as pinpoint implications for planning
  • Oversee planning process from start to finish, including RFPs, pricing negotiation, creative development, creative specs, supporting documentation, and deck build
  • Assist Director and Insights & Analytics in identification of vendors for long-term enterprise wide partnership opportunities
  • Support the team structure & classify campaigns for constant testing & programmatic diversification

  • Lead planning team on a day-to-day basis for full cycle of programs
  • Discover and foster growth opportunities for each team member
  • Build and preserve relationships with vendors and internal teams
  • Collaborate internally and externally to identify potential synergistic opportunities
  • Effectively present digital media plans to multiple groups in a team enviornment

Campaign Execution & Management:
  • Manage team in creation of authorization to buy forms, campaign budget sheets, and trafficking sheets
  • Review reports with team to extrapolate performance trends and key insights for optimization opportunities and/or future planning
  • Work alongside Campaign Managers & Media Planners to ensure billing is completed in a timely fashion
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent years of work experience in related position
  • Minimum of 3 years of digital media/marketing experience, specifically at an advertising agency or client side online marketing department
  • Minimum of2 years of programmatic experience
  • Minimum of2 years of management experience leading a small team or group
  • Retail and/or financial services experience on the marketing side is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DoubleClick/DCM, Programmatic UIs, comScore, Facebook Power Editor, and Google Analytics are required
