As a product manager, you will define feature requirements and influence product strategy for Oracle Service Cloud, with a specific focus on multi-channel web customer service. You will be expected to gather and analyze inputs from a variety of sources, evaluate wider market trends, and ultimately generate product specifications to meet the needs of our existing and prospective customers.
A successful candidate will be comfortable with the following:
- working directly with customers to gather feedback and communicate current and future product functionality
- collaborating with design and development teams to ensure your vision reaches fruition
- presenting product direction and strategy at relevant customer and industry events
- engaging and supporting additional teams as necessary (outbound product marketing, documentation and support,
implementation and consulting services, analyst relations)
As the product owner, you will work with your scrum team(s) to deliver successful product releases based on team and corporate priorities. Duties and tasks are varied and complex and require independent judgment. May have project lead role and influence other teams. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
