Sr. Payroll Analyst

This position is responsible for ensuring day-to-day audits and processes are completed and/or audited to ensure and accurate payroll processing. Ensures processes and procedures are documented, up-to-date, and used by EBS Payroll. May be asked to handle various size projects from start to finish with minimal guidance while managing risk. Ensures compliance, collaborates with various departments (HRIS, HR, Corporate Tax, Legal, etc.). Processes of executive compensation transactions (is deferrals, payouts, etc.). Documents and recommends problem resolution as it relates to compliance changes or system malfunctions. Suggests and implements process improvements and reviews, as it relates to payroll department, ensuring compliance, and operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications
5 years of payroll experience and/or payroll tax and/or benefits experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, and/or Human Resources

Previous Experience
Complex, multi-state payroll with 5000 + employees paid biweekly in arrears
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, and/or Human Resources
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation (Preferred

Other Requirements
Solid understand of the payroll taxes and taxable wages
Ability to ensure confidential information is protected
Attention to detail
Ability to interact with all types of employees at all levels
Solid understanding variety of payroll concepts, practices and procedures
High level of written communication, ability to make complex regulations and processes understandable to Payroll staff
Ability to work under pressure and perform in a fast paced environment,
Ability to use query tools to audit, analyze, and/or present data findings from payroll systems (Preferable Infor/Lawson)
Knowledge of time keeping systems and practices (Preferable Kronos)
